Apparently Star Magazine and a few other blogs are reporting that Kim Kardashian traded her wedding gifts for Rolex watches for her family members. This can’t be true, can it?
The story is filled with quotes from “insiders.” It is entirely plausible that those “insiders” are interns working at Star Magazine.
I know that Kim has her fair share of critics, but I think I’m going to defend her on this one. I just find if very hard to believe that she would do something like this. Am I crazy? I could be. Let’s look at the facts – the Kardashians have nice watches. Her marriage fell apart. Etc.
BUT, I actually believe that she’s a good person. I don’t think a good person would do something like this. What do you think?

Khloe Kardashian, big sister Kim, little brother Rob & mom Kris were spotted on the sidelines of the Clippers v. Mavericks game in LA this past Wednesday. While the Kardashian fam seemed more concerned with the on-court action (Khloe’s husband is Mavericks’ forward, Lamar Odom), we were on high-alert for a Kardashian-luxury watch sighting… and we weren’t disappointed when we spotted Khloe wearing this oversized gold Rolex President. As for the final score of the game? We’re not sure, but by our count, we’d say this was another win for Team Kardashian.

This year, big sister Kim‘s notorious $10 million, over-the-top, 72-day marriage to NBA star Kris Humphries, led the Kardashian clan to redefine the term “over-exposure,” (and left most Americans with that ‘watching a car crash-but-cant-look-away’ feeling).
While the constant barrage of Kardashian faces every where we turned got old fast, we did enjoy the barrage of expensive, over-the-top (true to Kardashian form), luxury watches (e.g. Cartier, Audemars Piguet, Rolex, Panerai, etc.) that popped up on the wrists of Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kris(x2), Scott and Rob during each episode-

A couple of things to get off of my chest:
1. We all see way too much of the Kardashians, so I apologize for adding to their exposure. But, they wear amazing watches.
2. I’m probably the only guy in the world (save Christian Louboutin) that noticed that Kylie is wearing Kim’s shoes from her trip to Dubai. Click here if you don’t believe me.
Now – onto the watches. The entire Kardashian Krew was in Vegas this week for the grand opening of their store, Kardashian Khaos. Not sure exactly what they sell – and I don’t want to get in trouble by guessing. During their stint on the red carpet, Kris and Rob Kardashian could be seen wearing hot watches. I’m 99.99% sure that Scott Disick was wearing a Rolex or an Audemars Piguet, but his suit sleeve is covering his wrist.

Knocking out Nadal in the 2011 US Open men’s finals, Novak Djokovic showed the world he can hang with the big boys. Good enough for the tennis world, but this is a watch blog, and theres no room for terry cloth wristbands on the court when your competition’s wearing Rolex and Richard Mille.
Well. It looks like Djokovic has answered our pleas and traded in his designer sweatbands for wrist-wear more befitting of a US Open Champion. The tennis champion showed up to the 2011 Trophy Presentation ceremonies wearing… an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver. We likey.
Its no coincidence however that Djokovic would rock an Audemars Piguet. The watch brand recently added the star athlete to their prestigious roster of celebrity ambassadors (talk about some good timing, AP).
The AP Royal Oak is the brand’s most recognizable model of watch, favored by world-class athletes and high-profile celebrities alike. Check out the gallery below for as well as our Celebrity Watch page to see what we mean.
Given that eRelyx HQ is on the East Coast, we spent a lot of time indoors ducking Irene this past weekend. We did some cooking, some cleaning, and some Keeping Up with the Kardashians. Fortunately, it’s pretty easy to keep up since E! plays each episode about 96 times.
The Kardashians might be the first family of watches. Rolex, Cartier, Audemars Piguet. The brands are on the screen every 30 seconds. Normally it’s Scott Disick, Kourtney Kardashian, Kris Jenner, or Rob Kardashian. This time, it was Kim – rocking a gold Rolex President and a gold Audemars Piguet (one with a complication). Check out the images below. BTW – what are the odds that Bruce Jenner wears a Timex Ironman? That’s what an Olympic athlete wears, right?

New Jersey Nets star and future reality TV star Kris “Kardashian” Humpries was in NY over the weekend for the 15th Annual Bridgehampton Polo Club Blue Star Jets Polo Match Series.
Over the next several years, I’m sure Kris will get plenty of fashion pointers from fiancee Kim Kardashian and likely brother-in-law and self-proclaimed style icon Scott Disick. Fortunately, Kris is already a pretty stylish guy – and more importantly, a fan of watches. Check out his watch from this weekend. Can anyone identify the brand? I wouldn’t be surprised if Scott Disick introduced him to Audemars Piguet and Rolex in the near future.

When it comes to fashion, there are few celebrities that are discussed, photographed, or admired more that Kim Kardashian. If she’s wearing it, women are buying it.
While everyone over at eRelyx loves Kim, we always had one problem with her – she never seems to wear a watch. Her mother Kris often wears a Rolex Daytona and her sister Kourtney often wears a gold Cartier watch. Kim? We’re not sure – her arms always seem to be watch-free. Check her out at a few recent events.
We had almost given up hope that she wasn’t a fan of watches. Until we saw this:
Kim is actually rocking a two-tone Cartier Roadster. Not a surprising choice – it’s a classic watch. Plus, her sister has a similar watch in gold.
So there you have it ladies – run out and buy Cartier watches. While the male scene is being dominated by Rolex, Audemars Piguet, and Panerai, the female scene is being dominated by Cartier.
