Is it just me, or are luxury watches getting bigger and bigger? I get the sense that most manufacturers have increased their production of large, bold watches. The move by watch manufacturers is likely in response to the latest (okay, they’re not that new) style trends. Men are wearing 44mm-47mm watches by Panerai (Luminor Marina), Bretiling (Navitimer World), and Oris (Divers Small Second, Date). Women are wearing men’s watches. And young babies are wearing women’s watches (okay, I’m speculating).
No where is the large watch trend more obvious than the world of music – specifically Hip-hop, Rap, R&B, and Pop. Check out the watches worn by some of the world’s most well-known musicians. Not only are they huge, but they’re loaded with jewels as well. Enjoy.
