An eRelyx Dream Christmas:
My Real-Life Christmas List:
(Clockwise from Top): 1. My bare apartment walls could use some livening up. I love this watercolor print by Caitlin McGauley of my favorite New York City location- Gramercy Park.
2. On a recent trip to NYC I tried my very first Macarons & I’m completely obsessed. Since I doubt a plane ticket to Paris is in my future, I’m asking for the next best thing- a box of treats from Boston’s best- Flour Bakery.
3.This one’s been on the wish list for the last 10 Christmases. A vintage Chanel handbag in the brand’s most iconic style. Swoon.
4. I recently had a “candle-epiphany”- where I finally realized the purpose, and power, of a scented candle- It kills odor like no air freshener can, and creates an incredible ambiance. These Diptyque candles are so decadent, so transformative- they’ve become one of those little luxuries I can’t help craving.
5. I’ve been dying to get my hands on some of these stackable jewel-tone rings that are so popular lately- Individually or piled on, these rings from The Julie Collection, are absolutely to die for.
6. Since I was about 16- its become a sort of Christmas-gift-tradition to receive an overpriced, totally unnecessary and utterly beautiful coffee table book from my parents. This year’s choice? 100 Years of Fashion Illustration- a perfect amalgam of (all my favorite subjects!) Art, Fashion & History.
7. Last, but definitely not least, what’s topping my list this year? Well…what else but a gorgeous luxury watch, of course! I love everything about this pre-owned Rolex Datejust-
-from the gold case to the sumptuous brown leather strap to the over-sized masculine look. Not only is this piece a great investment (Rolex watches tend to appreciate in value, especially when there is gold involved, and buying pre-owned saves you a bundle to start!), but I love that it’s a total departure from my every-day classic- the Cartier Tank Francaise.
I cant help but adore this watch’s ability to feel both laid-back as well as luxe, and transition from casual-wear to a statement making piece. Its the “luxury vintage” vibe of this Rolex that really has me hoping I made Santa’s ‘Nice List’ this year!

We’ve been singing its praises for a while now. The Cartier Ballon Bleu is one of the hottest watches on the market. It made our list of the Hottest Watches on the Market. Tons of celebs wear the Cartier Ballon Bleu.
Need more proof? A pre-owned Cartier Ballon Bleu just sold on eBay for $6,626. Here’s a little secret – they’re available from Amazon, brand new, for $6,650. As of right now, there are 5 available. My guess is that they’ll be gone by cyber Monday. Sure, you won’t get the certificate of authenticity from Amazon. And Amazon may be too big to offer the kind of customer service that you expect when buying a luxury watch. A few weeks ago eRelyx had a photoshoot featuring spokesmodel Jennifer Welsh. The pictures turned out great. Click here to see some of the photos.
The president of Boston-based clothing company Dressed by Christopher Cuozzo saw the pictures and knew that Jennifer would be a great ambassador for his brand. Jennifer donned the Dressed clothing this weekend for a photoshoot in the Boston Public Garden. Members of the eRelyx team were on hand to snap a few photos…and to make sure that Jennifer was wearing her Cartier Tank Francaise watch.

Lingerie’s equivalent of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is an annual reminder that the Holiday season is here (and secondly, that its probably time to put the fork down and resist a third trip to the buffet on Turkey-day).
Last night’s taping in NYC featured the usual bevvy of gorgeous models (or Angels, if you will) in over-the-top lingerie / costumes and blinding amounts of diamonds/ sequins/ rhinestones/ glitter, we’ve come to expect, as well as special performances from Maroon 5, Jay-Z & Kanye West and the fabulous Nicki Minaj- which elevated this year’s show to a new high.
Amidst all the sparkle, shine and overall gorgeousness we actually spotted (believe it or not), some really awesome watches on the wrists of Jay-Z, Kanye, and Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. Case in point that chicks really do dig guys with nice watches.
Other highlights of the show included: a very preggers Beyonce in the front row, Adam Levine breaking hearts everywhere with his serenade of gf Anne Vyalitsyna (He even held her hand down the runway! Cute!), and Miranda Kerr looking hotter than ever, rocking out the famous 2.5 million dollar (think of how many watches you could buy with that…) Treasure Bra just 9 months after giving birth (seriously, unreal).

Apple is taking over the world. iPhone? Check. iPad? Check. MacBook? Check.
And now they want me to buy and iPod watch (Nano with a strap attachment)? Well maybe I will. It’s a pretty versatile watch. It can tell time, track my runs, play my music, cook my meals (there’s an app for that). Oh yeah, it looks pretty cool.

There’s this game my girlfriends and I play sometimes when were out shopping together, it’s kind of like a Proust-questionnaire / Mad-Libs mash-up-
“If I were a [insert article of clothing / consumer good here] I’d be [insert proper name of said product here]“
If I were a pair of shoes, I’d totally be these adorable kitten-heeled Kate Spade sandals covered in pink glitter. Girly, sparkly and all about having fun-
If I were an article of clothing- I’d be this J. Crew Cashmere boyfriend sweater. Its A staple piece, thats warm and luxe but still laid-back, and the bright emerald hue is an unexpected, fun twist thats on-point with the fashion of this season.

We know we’ve blogged previously about what your watch says about you. But, what if you were a watch? It really is a different question entirely.
Think about it… You may love the watch you wear & the image it conveys, but it may not be the item that fully represents your personality. For instance, while I love (and would prefer to wear) my own Cartier Tank Francaise, I’d have to say that “if I were a watch,” I’m far more likely be a Cartier Tank Americaine leather strapwatch:
While still a classic, feminine piece, the Americaine is a little more subtle and casual than the Francaise- which better suits my personality. (Hey, I may choose to decorate my apartment entirely in pink, but I’m still the kind of girl who’d rather sleep-in the extra 20 minutes than blow-dry her hair).
So now we wanna know- What if you were a watch?
