Bracelets on both arms. No watch. What?!?! How could you do that to us? You have so many amazing watches. Bracelets look great. But watches look great and tell time. Therefore watches are superior to bracelets.
Dear Jennifer – please wear a watch to your next red carpet event.
Presidents weekend was busy in Tinseltown with one celeb-studded event after another, and we were happy to catch a glimpse of more than a few watches in the process. Check out Hip-Hop artist Flo Rida (in nerd glasses!), Atlanta Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez, international soccer superstar David Beckham, and fashion designer (and former MTV reality star) Whitney Port- all rocking some high-end wrist-wear:
Recording star Ne-Yo showed up to the Los Angeles premier of “Think Like a Man” wearing a great looking watch. The problem is that we can’t identify it! We thought is might be a black dial Rolex Milgauss, but then we caught glimpse of the black inserts on the bracelet. We’re stumped. Any ideas?
Last we checked, Diane Kruger was dating Joshua Jackson, but is it possible the German beauty has another, very public, love? Well, yes, but its not what you think. The love we’re referring to is a watch! (Seriously, are you surprised?) And not just any watch- a Jaeger LeCoultre Reverso, to be exact.
In 2009, Kruger was named a brand ambassador for Jaeger-LeCoultre, and specifically helped debut the watch manufacturer’s new Grande Reverso Lady Ultra Thin model.
If we didn’t already love the Reverso watch line, we’d definitely want one after seeing the gorgeous Kruger in one. Conversely, if we didn’t already love Diane Kruger, we’d definitely love her for how often she’s spotted on the press circuit & red carpets wearing her JLC watches.
There really is no better story to share this Valentine’s Day than that of the love affair between a beautiful Hollywood starlet and her luxury watch.
Several years ago American Idol exploded onto TV sets – it was a HUGE success and revolutionized talent shows / competitions. But now there are sooooo many TV shows competing in a similar space – America’s Got Talent, The Voice, The X-Factor, The Sing-Off…etc. That’s not even including the dance competitions – America’s Best Dance Crew, So You Think You Can Dance, Dancing With the Stars, etc.
My question is this – Are there too many talent shows out there? Discuss.
Okay, back to watches. Simon Cowell is a watch fanatic. We’ve blogged about him before and we’ll blog about him again if he keeps wearing watches like this one. Check him out at a Britain’s Got Talent event wearing his Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon Quantieme Perpetuel. Nothing wrong with a watch that pushes well into the six figures.

Mike Tyson loves knocking people out. He also loves pigeons. Add nice watches to that list. We knew that he was unique! My guess is that there aren’t too many people who share that assortment of interests.

We scoped out Disney Channel princess Ashley Tisdale (star of the hit, “High School Musical”) looking very grown-up in a Gold Rolex President at the LA premiere for her bff, Vanessa Hudgens’ new movie- “Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.”
We like that Tisdale is not only rocking the oversized men’s watch trend, but also wears her watch with her more formal attire- proving a hot watch really is the accessory that goes with anything.
The story is filled with quotes from “insiders.” It is entirely plausible that those “insiders” are interns working at Star Magazine.
I know that Kim has her fair share of critics, but I think I’m going to defend her on this one. I just find if very hard to believe that she would do something like this. Am I crazy? I could be. Let’s look at the facts – the Kardashians have nice watches. Her marriage fell apart. Etc.
BUT, I actually believe that she’s a good person. I don’t think a good person would do something like this. What do you think?
