The cast of Gossip Girl recently celebrated the show’s 100th episode. The usual suspects were in attendance. But who caught our eye? Leighton Meester? Blake Lively? Well, yes and yes. They both looked great. But they weren’t wearing watches. Here’s proof:
See, we told you. The cast member that REALLY caught our eye was Chace Crawford. We see that Panerai hiding under your sleeve. Let it breathe!!
Chace Crawford is our favorite actor on the series. Why? You guessed it – he’s often seen wearing great watches. Seems like Panerai and the IWC Big Pilot are his favorites.

Hopefully people have positive experiences with finewatchesonsale.com, but buyer beware.

The president of Boston-based clothing company Dressed by Christopher Cuozzo saw the pictures and knew that Jennifer would be a great ambassador for his brand. Jennifer donned the Dressed clothing this weekend for a photoshoot in the Boston Public Garden. Members of the eRelyx team were on hand to snap a few photos…and to make sure that Jennifer was wearing her Cartier Tank Francaise watch.
Lingerie’s equivalent of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show is an annual reminder that the Holiday season is here (and secondly, that its probably time to put the fork down and resist a third trip to the buffet on Turkey-day).
Last night’s taping in NYC featured the usual bevvy of gorgeous models (or Angels, if you will) in over-the-top lingerie / costumes and blinding amounts of diamonds/ sequins/ rhinestones/ glitter, we’ve come to expect, as well as special performances from Maroon 5, Jay-Z & Kanye West and the fabulous Nicki Minaj- which elevated this year’s show to a new high.
Amidst all the sparkle, shine and overall gorgeousness we actually spotted (believe it or not), some really awesome watches on the wrists of Jay-Z, Kanye, and Maroon 5 frontman, Adam Levine. Case in point that chicks really do dig guys with nice watches.
Other highlights of the show included: a very preggers Beyonce in the front row, Adam Levine breaking hearts everywhere with his serenade of gf Anne Vyalitsyna (He even held her hand down the runway! Cute!), and Miranda Kerr looking hotter than ever, rocking out the famous 2.5 million dollar (think of how many watches you could buy with that…) Treasure Bra just 9 months after giving birth (seriously, unreal).

IWC Portuguese Chronograph – the runner up from last year. Still very hard to find in great, pre-owned condition. And if you do find one, it won’t come at a big discount to retail.
Rolex Submariner Date or GMT-Master II with Ceramic Bezel – a classic, slightly redesigned. Hard to argue with this legend.
IWC Yacht Club – yep, another IWC watch. They know how to make solid, classic, attractive watches. I’ll refrain from adding the Big Pilot, but it could be on the list.
The 2011 World Series of Poker (WSOP) champion was crowned last night in Las Vegas. The winner, German Pius Heinz, took home a whopping $8.72MM…and a sweet diamond studded bracelet.
I understand that winning a bracelet is a tradition, but how many men wear bracelets these days? I don’t know the answer to that, but I know the number is lower than the number of men who wear watches. So why not give away a WSOP watch? Maybe a nice Rolex. Or a Patek Philippe. After all, a bracelet is just a watch that doesn’t tell time, right?
Last year we crowned Jennifer Aniston as our Top Watch Celebrity. Certainly celebs like Charlie Sheen and Jay Leno are owners of bigger and better watch collections, but we didn’t see as many pics of them wearing those watches. And I think everyone would agree that Jennifer Aniston is more pleasant on the eyes. Hence our decision to crown her as our 2010 Top Watch Celebrity.
So who is going to win this year? Our money is on Tamara Ecclestone. She’s in front of the paparazzi cameras often, is attractive, and has a heck of a watch collection. Check her out at the Arthur Christmas premier in London over the weekend.
Looks like she’s rocking one of our favorites – a stainless steel Rolex Daytona with a white dial.
She’s also been seen wearing two of our other favorites – a Cartier Ballon Bleu and an Audemars Piguet Royal Oak.
